Botanical Medicine
Botanical Medicine has been manufacturing health products since 1993. We are a producer of quality handmade herbal and aromatic products that are suitable for the entire family. We use both traditional herbal medicine and biological science methods to produce our range, including aromatic medicine, flower essence therapy and naturopathic principals.
Our products are made with care in our laboratory, we:
- use entirely natural derivatives
- are manufactured with sustainable materials
- utilise seasonal local and organic materials
- are cost effective herbal treatments
Botanical Medicine is a manufacturer of natural herbal products that integrates all facets of traditional herbal medicine practices whilst also incorporating the most suitable scientific manufacturing techniques. We utilise all existing forms of plant medicines, including, but not limited to:
- dry herbs and powders
- infused base oils
- cold pressed oils and vitamins
- plant extracts and tinctures
- essential oils and CO2 extracts
- hydrosols and floral waters
- Flower essences

Gaye's passion for making herbal products, including oils and ointments, began in 1993 whilst working as a massage therapist and physiotherapy assistant. She loved to see clients respond to treatments and for their pain to be soothed. Gaye has completed a Bachelor of Science (Biological Science) through Murdoch University; an Advanced Diploma’s in Naturopathy and Western Herbal medicine at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine (AIHM); a Diploma in Aromatherapy at the Australian College of Aromatherapy (ACOA); a Certificate IV in Flower Essences and Reflexology at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine (AIHM); and Training and Assessment through Challenger Institute of Technology, Fremantle.
Over the last 10 years Gaye has concentrated on all aspects of herbal manufacture from both introduced and native plants. Gaye has attended international and overseas courses in the distillation and advanced uses of essential oils and aromatic medicine including CO2 plant extracts. As a herbal therapist Gaye manufactures therapeutic goods specific to a client’s needs through consultation and utilises all her acquired skills to produce potent botanical medicines under strict manufacturing practices. Gaye has recently completed a certificate in Online GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) training for Herbal and Complementary Products through Pharmout.
